Behind the camera
for over a decade

I’ve been creating visual media professionally since 2013, and after more than a decade behind the camera, one thing still excites me more than anything else: figuring things out.

Today, I work as a Senior Multimedia Specialist at State Farm, where I help transform ideas into engaging visual experiences through video production, photography, motion graphics, and post-production. Every project is different, and that’s exactly what keeps me coming back. Whether it’s solving a technical challenge, refining a creative concept, or finding a better way to tell a story, I enjoy the process just as much as the finished product.

I’ve always believed that great creative work happens where art and engineering meet. I love the technical side of filmmaking—the cameras, lighting, workflows, color, audio, and the tools that make everything possible—but only because they help communicate something meaningful. Technology changes constantly. Strong ideas don’t.

What motivates me most is continuous improvement. I’m the type of person who can’t help but ask why. Why does one edit feel more impactful than another? Why does a brand connect with people? Why does one workflow save hours while another creates friction? That curiosity has led me beyond production into marketing strategy, branding, creative systems, and the psychology behind effective communication. The more I learn, the better I become—not just as a filmmaker, but as a creative problem solver.

Outside of work, that same curiosity doesn’t really turn off. You’ll usually find me learning a new skill, experimenting with 3D printing, organizing camera gear, building better workflows, or diving deep into whatever has captured my attention that week. I enjoy understanding how things work almost as much as creating them.

This portfolio is a collection of that journey. It’s a snapshot of the work I’ve been fortunate enough to create, the lessons I’ve learned along the way, and the mindset I bring to every project: stay curious, keep improving, and never stop learning.

These days the camera mostly stays at State Farm — the rest of my time belongs to my wife and kids.

I'm not taking much freelance right now. But if you've got a story worth telling, I still want to hear about it — worst case, it waits for the right season.

Say hello anyway
